Can I sell my old electrical equipment?

Do you have new, surplus, obsolete, hard-to-find or old electrical equipment lying around your workshop, garage or warehouse? Free up your space and get paid by Civic Recycling! We buy new, used, obsolete, or surplus equipment. Whether you have one obsolete circuit breaker or a brand-new surplus transformer, we want to buy them from you.

How much can I expect to get for selling obsolete or surplus equipment?

Pricing varies from manufacturer to manufacturer and component to component. For a detailed estimate, please send us an email and, if possible, include a detailed list and pictures to scott@civicrecycling.com

What happens next?

If we are interested in purchasing your electrical equipment, we will make you an offer. If you accept our offer, we can then work out the details, and you can drop off your items at our shop. We can also pick items up at your location. Are you out of town and need to ship it to us? Once we receive the equipment in good condition, it’s time to get you paid! Payment is generally made via company cheque or e-transfer, although alternative arrangements can be made.
